Mini Update

Got some exciting things going on lately but unfortunately, no time to blog about them! Work has continued to be crazy busy while I am training my replacement and preparing to leave. Hopefully I will have some more time next week to update on everything that has been going on/publish some posts I have in the works including:

• Room Make-Over
• Beauty Routine

Tax Season

Whelp. I have been a not-so-great blogger recently. I have even drafted a few posts but haven't been able to make time to finish and publish them. Luckily this is my (hopefully) last year working in finance during tax season so I will no longer have to dread those first two weeks of April!

It has been absolutely insane busy over at my office, tax prep like you wouldn't believe. Yesterday and today have slowed down a bit but I am now starting to train my replacement so that is also a bit hectic. I've had to do this a few times and I always find it difficult to come up with a good working/training balance.

On a bright note I got paid a small fee for a little marketing work I did for a family friend which was a great surprise as I had told her I would do the work for free! This fee has already been spent however on the Shopbop Friends & Family sale. I'm pretty sure 90% of my bloglovin' feed is taken up right now by Shopbop sale posts so I'm sure you guys don't need any more inspiration on things to buy but I will share my purchases:)

Firstly, blush Yosi Samra flats. I have been looking for a good pair of foldable flats for a while and with the 25% off these were the right price point and I have heard great reviews.

And secondly, this amazing Rebecca Minkoff handbag that I have been lusting over for over a year. I have NEVER seen this bag on sale so this was a total score!

One-Year Wedding Anniversary!

George and I celebrated a wonderful first year of being married yesterday (and Saturday). I can't believe it has been a year already, it definitely flew by!!!

These two are actually from our "first" wedding. We had a small courthouse ceremony in December and then the actual wedding in April.

We celebrated with dinner at the restaurant that catered the wedding. Pretty low-key but a nice excuse for a date! And I got to break-out my original wedding dress which I have been afraid to wear since:)
